More than Golf

Being a member of Blackmoor Golf Club is about so much more than playing golf. Our members enjoy a fun-filled calendar of social events and activities, most of which take place in our modern clubhouse bar and restaurant.

Our Ladies' Golf Section are particularly active, hosting weekly competitions and events every Tuesday.

The Club also holds regular get into golf open days and taster sessions which are always very well subscribed and provide an excellent opportunity for people to discover more about life as a member of Blackmoor.

We pride oursleves on being a very welcoming and friendly golf club and extend a warm welcome to visitors and new members alike.

Pathway Programme

For people looking to take up golf, our Academy offers a friendly and supportive pathway into the sport.

Tailoredmade by our PGA professionals, the pathway equips participants with the necessary skills and confidence to start playing golf and includes group and individual lessions, unlimited use of both the driving range and practice areas and access to the club's social events and clubhouse.

Pathway Benefits

Year 1 Academy Includes:

• 3 x group lessons
• 6 x 30 minutes individual lessons with a PGA Professional
• 2 x group fun competitions
• Regular practice sessions run by the ladies section
• Driving range membership for one year from joining
• Social membership for one year from joining
• Rules and general course etiquette information
• Course access - up to 4 members guest fees, must be with another club member and subject to the PGA Pro confirming you are ready to go on the course.

Get into Golf at Blackmoor

Join us for one of our a fun and friendly get into golf sessions.

Hosted by our PGA Professionals, our Taster Days are a great way for beginner golfers to try the sport for the first time, or for golfers looking to return to the game after a short layoff.
